Irish Life Investment Managers wins at Irish Pension Awards 2015

Irish Life Investment Managers wins at Irish Pension Awards

Irish Life Investment Managers awarded Investment Manager of the Year for the third year in a row.

26th November, 2015 – Irish Life Investment Managers awarded Investment Manager of the Year for the third year in a row.

Irish Life has been awarded two top accolades at the Irish Pension Awards 2015, held in association with European Pensions. At the award ceremony last night in Dublin, Irish Life Investment Managers won Investment Manager of the Year for the third year in a row and Setanta Asset Management, part of the Irish Life Group, was awarded Equities Manager of the Year for the fourth year in a row.

Commenting on the win, Patrick Burke, Managing Director, Irish Life Investment Managers said; “This award is a great recognition for our team at Irish Life Investment Managers. Winning Investment Manager of the Year for the third year running reflects our continued focus, across Irish Life, on understanding our customers’ needs so as to ensure delivery of investment solutions which are specifically tailored to the risk and return characteristics of our individual customers and Irish pension schemes.

We are committed to bringing the best service and range of investment solutions possible to our clients, and this is reflected in our growing international recognition and success in the expansion of our client base across Europe and into North America” he said.

The 2015 judges were drawn from across Ireland’s pension sphere to include pension providers, industry bodies, consultants, financial services and pension representatives from various Irish pension and financial associations. Irish Life businesses were shortlisted for more awards than any other pension provider or investment manager this year, recognising Irish Life’s strong contribution across the Irish pension market.

Irish Life Investment Managers (ILIM) came up against some of the industry’s leading pension providers in Ireland to be awarded the Investment Manager of the Year Award. This award recognises excellence in investment management at one of the most challenging times in Irish pensions history.

Setanta Asset Management overcame stiff competition to secure the Equities Manager of the Year Award. This award celebrates the manager who has led the way in managing equities for its clients over the past 12 months, and has proved itself truly invaluable to Irish pension funds.
